Love this product. My daughter is allergic to fire ants, and these help protect her feet while playing in our Texas backyard. Took off one star for sizing. My daughter is toddler size 10, ordered L 9-11, and they would not fit on her feet. I returned and ordered XL, they are a little big, but they work and we're satisfied.I have twin 5 year old boys that wear a U.S. size 10 in toddlers. The large fit them both perfectly. We decided to buy sand socks for the boys for the swimming pool because we had noticed that their toes were very sensitive and getting red, sun spots. These socks did the trick and have saved their feet from owies. However, after only 2 pool days, we are seeing the beginning of a hole in one of the pairs. We did wash and dry the socks. I'm not sure if that could be causing the visible wear and tear already. However, my boys seem to like them. One chose "Lightning Blue" and the other chose "Neon Night." I would have rated them a 5 stars, but the "Neon Night" pair seem to slip off periodically and my son needs to pull them up. My other son doesn't have that problem. Overall, the socks are working out fine. Initially, only one pair was sent. After a couple of emails to customer service, the other pair shipped quickly at no additional cost.Overall I like the socks that I purchased for my 7 year old who does not have complete control of her lower legs and feet due to a physical disability. This is the second pair that I bought of the same brand. The socks are well made and the fit is good. A little on the snug side but that would be expected since if they are not snug they will probably slip off your feet even more. These are good to use walking on sand and pool area. We use them in and around pools to protect my daughter's feet from the rough surfaces. The socks do a good job in protecting her feet and look cute and stylish. Don't expect them to last forever though. after soaking in the water they tend to shrink a little and loose elasticity. If your child drags her feet somewhat, these socks will thin out and eventually rip. I recommend these because out of several brands that I've tried I like these the best.I bought a pair for both me and my 6 year old daughter. we love them! They are very comfortable and are nice to wear around. They run pretty true to size, but remember it fits like a sock. I wear a 8 1/2 or 9 in shoes and she wears a 13. I wasn't sure whether to go up or not. I decided not to, and they fit perfect. One thing I like (compared to other socks) is that there's no seam under the toe, so even when you're at the top of the size, you don't feel a seam across your toes. The bottom is NOT "hard" or leathery. These are great on sand, or around water, but if stepping on rocks, or pebbles, you CAN feel them. Over all, a nice product for the price, and I would recommend to friends.These socks are a GAME CHANGER. We bought these for our three children (ages 5, 3, 2) on our recent trip to Hawaii. We knew we would be spending long hours at the beach, and kids notoriously dislike the wet sand feeling. Also, the sand in shoes scenario, which results in blisters and whining, was a problem last years. Finally, barefoot isn’t ideal because of random glass, sand burrs, and sharp rocks. These “socks” keep the sand out and are so comfortable. They protect against beach debris, rocks, hot sand, etc. I am in love and will recommend them to all! Best part: our kids loved them too.it looks like a good product but haven't been able to use it because it was too big. My son was right on the line of the shoe fittings, so I went up, thinking if I went the size down it would be too tight and he wouldn't wear them. But I know now I should have gone to the small size. They stretch well. Very soft. I'm keeping them to see if he can fit in them at the end of the season or even next summer.They work great, I did have to sew them a little tighter since my daughter has thin ankles. They pill up just slightly from the very first use, but there is no seam separation after many, many swimsWe had to return these socks because we ordered the wrong size, but that was our fault--they were for my adult friend who has spina bifida and his feet are kid size but adult width. He plans to use them to protect his feet while swimming in the pool. The socks are very, very nice quality. We just reordered the smallest adult size and decided to order the grip socks instead of the sand socks because they have a more protective sole. Good quality product, and they were shipped very quickly!
