Too expensive for such an iconic shoeWell made of good material, but toe box is too narrow and low (barely can fit your toes ).This is the second time I've tried Kork-Ease, and both were returned. I find them very hard and quite rigid. Walking on my hardwood floor is more like "clomping" than a normal footfall. It's a cute style but the construction doesn't work for me.This is my fourth pair of Kork Ease sandals. I am a big fan because of the comfort and the style.HOWEVER Kork Ease needs to fix an ongoing issue with the elastic on all of their sandals. On each pair that I have owned, the elastic wears out within wearing the sandals about 20 times. I have had to take each of my sandals to a cobbler to replace the elastic.I am a teacher, and I stand all day. I really like these sandals (enough to have purchased four pair over the years) but to my dismay the company has not fixed this ONGOING QUALITY ISSUE.Kork Ease, I am about to give up!Other than this albeit big problem, I really like the fit, style and quality of the rest of the shoe. These sandals are beautiful! Great muted burnished silver grey color; toe opening is wider than most - but in a good way- so it doesn't cut into your toes when walking; arch is moderate but enough for either a flat foot or one with pronounced arch. And the comfortability factor...Ladies, can we talk? They were delivered at 3pm today and I have not taken them off yet. You can walk in them immediately from the box! Cute style, not old ladyish at all (sometimes Kork-Ease can do that). The ONLY issue is the SQUEAKING *lol*. It's not loud but it IS noticeable. To reduce it I rubbed a little oil on the inside of the straps and that helped tremendously. With more wear, I am sure it will resolve itself. Ordering the gold color now!How to please everybody?? No way I guess. I had these decades ago and LOVED them. SO happy to see I could finally replace them; only to discover that in 2019 they come with bloody arches put in. I am so upset. I have flat feet. Anytime they put in arches to make those gals happy they make us flatties unhappy. I wish manufacturers would make a "add an arch" feature to their shoes; make em flat and have a couple of hole in the footbed and then enclose a pop in arch support for the gals that want and need it. Why does it have to be one or the other? Anyway, I had to send them back and am not happy. Are you listening Kork-Ease??These are high quality sandals and great fitting for walking or standing on your feet for a long time .. I personally like the arch support as I have low arches .. and also have a bunion problem .. They were very comfortable from the first time for wearing in my working situation as well as stylish with some platform height to wear with my outfits .. well worth the $$$. ... I’ll be wearing them for a while ?This shoe looked really cute on my foot and had the arch support that I expected, which is a little more than just the average shoe. Problem is, based on my normal shoe size of 8, it's a little short in length. I am returning this item only because of it being short in length and this supplier doesn't have the next 1/2 size up that I would need.
