These shoe/slippers will last for years and are perfect. The soft lining is warm but not so warm that it cases my feet to sweat. The furry part only surrounds the side of the feet. The part you step on is a normal, squishy sole. Not the fur. I was reluctant to pay so much for shoes but the quality and perfect fit will make these last for years. I’ve been buying about a pair a year of cheap slippers for years and they always suck for one reason or another (too hot, too squishy, slide on the floor, etc).... these are really absolutely perfect. They also look cool too! I wear them as both slippers and out to the store.
