I'd been looking for a wool based replacement for my ancient cotton Hanes ankle socks, especially considering that they were rough enough to wear holes at the inside back heel area on my shoes. These socks are the bomb. You could not tear them away from me! I've used wool socks when hiking before, but those are usually giant thick things made for invading Grenada rather than taking the dogs on a walk. These are slim, look good and feel like your feet are on an island beach somewhere lounging in the sun. And you can wear them easily twice as long as cotton socks, because it takes much, much longer for them to feel sweaty enough to want to stop wearing them.Seriously, if you're on the fence, buy these things. Your feet will rejoice!I walk the golf course three to four times a week and log over 1500 miles a year. These are by far the best socks I've ever used. The tour players are wearing them. 'nuff said. These socks are very comfortable and of great quality!greatI have been wearing these for about 10 years. I buy about 15 pairs at a time and oddly wear about 3 pair a day because my feet sweat a ton, I know, gross.. These hold up shockingly well. Yes they are expensive but the company is great and the product is truly exceptional.By far the best golf socks I’ve ever had!Kentwool socks are long lasting and comfortable. Although they are wool, they don't tend to get top hot. Although these are meant primarily for golf, I use them regularly with sneakers and regular shoes.I heard about these years ago and finally ordered a pair and quickly followed up with 3 more pair. These are not cotton socks and so they are not priced like cotton socks. But most importantly they do not ware like cotton socks. These have fantastic comfort and durability. I was a little concerned on washing but all has been good and they did not shrink or change. Highly recommend
